Legend of Kailash Fair
The locals believe that Lord Shiva himself is present at Kailash temple in the form of stone lingam. Shiva is one of the supreme deities of Hindu religion. It is said that the Lord fulfills wishes of all its devotees. Legend has it that Lord Shiva appeared here in the disguise of stone lingam and still present at this sanctified place to listen prayers of all devotees. History

Kailash Temple
Kailash Temple is located on the banks of a river in Sikandra. The temple is situated amidst serene environment where one can enjoy cool breeze from the Yamuna River. The temple attracts devotees without paying regard towards caste, creed and colour. The devotees mainly make offering of Belvpatr, Dhautura flower, milk, flowers and sweets. In general days, the temple remains open between 6 am to 9 pm. The devotees can attend the aarti both in the morning and in the evening.
