Itinerary Details...

Day 01 : Chennai
Upon arrival at Chennai meeting and assistance followed by transfer to hotel. Chennai is popular as the gateway to southern India, established in 1639 by the East India Company, is one of the oldest cities of the country. Assistance and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 : Chennai - Covelong
After breakfast, half day sightseeing tour, visiting Gandhi Memorial, Kala Kshetra, Mylapore temple and Marine beach. Later drive to Covelong. Check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03 : Covelong
Day free at Covelong Beach. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04 : Covelong - Pondicherry
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Pondicherry. On arrival check-in at hotel. Later half day city tour to Aurobindo Ashram, you will be transported to a world of bliss and peace. Here the day starts with meditation and visitors can look of Sri Aurobindo and his chief disciple Mother's room. You will also visit the Pondicherry Museum where among the artefacts you will see the discoveries of Arikamedu, Chola bronze items. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05 : Pondicherry - Thanjavur (237Kms / 6Hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Thanjavur. On arrival check-in at hotel. Afternoon we will visit Brihadeshwara Fort & Temple, which is a Chola architectural marvel. This is also listed in the world heritage. Also, you will visit Thanjavur Palace & Museum, which houses a library, museum and art gallery. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06 : Tanjore - Trichy - Madurai
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Madurai. Enroute visit Trichy. Trichy was the citadel of the Chola dynasty in the medieval period. In the 18th century it witnessed the Carnatic wars fought between the French and the English. Lord Robert Clive's house is still there to see and so is the Danish Church. The Rock-Fort is the landmark of Trichy. A climb of 434 steps leads to the ancient temple of Ganapati on top and a further climb to a Shiva temple. Later continue to Madurai. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07 : Madurai - Periyar
After breakfast visit the great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering gopurams (rising high above the surrounding country side) visit the Thirumalai Nayak Palace - A gracious building in the Indo Saracenic style, famous for the Stucco work on its domes & arches. Later drive to Periyar. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08 : Thekkady (Periyar) - Kumarakom
After Breakfast enjoy the boat ride in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to view the wildlife. The boat ride in the lake is delightful way of spotting Elephant and Avifauna, for which the park is well known. Afternoon drive to Kumarakom. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09 : Kumarkom - Alleppey (27 kms)
Enjoy the magic of backwater by going on a Houseboat (Kettuvallam) cruise across the backwaters. Spend the next 22 hours in your floating villa. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the village life at close quarters; a unique and unforgettable experience. Enjoy the sunset & stay overnight on the houseboat. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 10 : Alleppey - Kochi - Chennai
After breakfast drive to Cochin. On arrival at Cochin proceed for city tour of Cochin visit to Fort Cochin, Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Palace (Closed on Friday and Sunday, opening time 9:30 am to 4:00 pm) at Mattancherry, St. Francis Church and Chinese fishing nets. Later drop you at airport to connect flight for Chennai. Upon arrival at Chennai meeting and assistance followed by transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11 : Chennai Departure
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
